Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Handyyy ("Handyyy," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and application (the "Service"). Handyyy is a tool that home-service professionals ("Pros") — such as handymen, house cleaners, and landscapers — use to manage requests, estimates, invoices, and customer communication.
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information (Pros). When you sign up, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, business website, service areas, the services you offer, and a password. You may also upload a logo or profile photo.
Customer information. Pros use the Service to manage their own customers. This may include a customer's name, email address, phone number, service address, job details, and photos the customer submits through a Pro's booking link. If you are a customer of a Pro, the information you provide is collected on that Pro's behalf (see "Pros and Their Customers" below).
Billing information. Subscription payments from Pros are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers; Stripe handles that information under its own terms and privacy policy. Handyyy does not process payments between Pros and their customers — those are arranged directly between them (for example, by Venmo or cash).
Information you send us. If you contact us for support, we collect the information in your message, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your question.
Automatically collected information. When you use the Service, we automatically collect technical information such as your device type, browser, IP address, and log data, and we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure (see our Cookie Policy).
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
- send transactional messages such as confirmations, reminders, and notifications;
- process subscriptions and billing;
- respond to support requests;
- protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security threats; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us run the Service, including: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage hosting); Vercel (application hosting); Stripe (subscription payment processing); Resend (transactional email); and Cloudflare (security and anti-spam protection). These providers may process information only to provide services to us.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Handyyy, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If Handyyy is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Pros and Their Customers
When a Pro uses Handyyy to manage their customers, the Pro decides what customer information to collect and how to use it. For that customer information, the Pro is responsible for its own privacy practices, and Handyyy acts as a service provider processing the information on the Pro's behalf. If you are a customer and have a request about your information, please contact the Pro you worked with directly.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at support@handyyy.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. Pros can also update much of their account information directly in the app.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact Us
